Wire Shelf Hook Version 2

Version 1: 

Included is a small and simple hook for wire shelving units.

The model is parameterized so you can adjust the size the hook along with parameters to adjust the shelf attachment for various different shelf sizes.

Parameters Guide:

Shelf Attachment Parameters:

• Bar_to_Bar

  • This is the distance between the two ends of the bar. This is the only physical measurment you will need.

• Clearance

  • The space between the bar and the curve of the model. I found 0.2mm to be a good amount.

• Grip_Angle

  • The amount the hook curves around the bottom bar.

• Thickness

  • How thick the model is. Making it too thick might make the model too rigid to flex around the bar.

• Width

  • How wide you want the model to be.

Hook Parameters:

• Hook_Thickness

  • How thick the hook is

• Hook_Diameter

  • The diameter of the inner circle of the hook

• Hook_Angle

  • The angle the hook sweeps up to
