This project is a simple kitcard of a ballista i made to be powered by a rubber band, yes it really does fire, no there is no included projectile. after the 3d view of the file all the pictures you see are a visual aid for the construction of this print.(the first picture is the final product but printed at superdraft with the second picture being a prototype printed and normal draft speed, didnt have the time to print the final one again, sorry)

BE AWARE the guide arms that span the length of the ballista should have the thicker side facing INWARD, IN ADDITION blended ballista's 3 and 4 are only there for DOCUMENTATION PURPOSES and should not be printed (they have incorrect tolerances).

i had hoped to add a wood texture (among other things) to this model but life's been busy, so i have this as a work in progress till i can add those finishing touches. its been a hell of a time making this, i've taken a few classes on 3D modeling but ive never actually made anything (unless you count the blender donut) so trying to whip this up in just the two days i had free was a fun challenge. (though i should probably work more on my ability to sketch )
