The Cisco CBW145AC access point is fed from an ethernet port on the back. This is easy enough if the ethernet cable passes out of the wall. Where this isn't possible, this bracket allows the AP to be mounted to the wall and for the cable to pass up from underneath.

This approach requires an ethernet cable with a 90 degree plug like this one. The space within the bracket to allow for the cable is 25mm.

The hole for the cable to pass through is quite tight for the plug, but it is easy enough to pass the plug through with a bit of turning.

The mounting plate that comes with the AP is attached to the 3D printed bracket with 3mm x 6mm bolts. The threads in the printed part are designed to size - I ran a 3mm X 0.5mm tap through the threads to clean them up prior to assembly.

There are two mounting holes to attach the bracket to the wall, but only one needs to be used if you're not worried about the AP moving slightly.
With the mounting screw not over tightened, the mount can be slid up and removed easily without removing the screw.
