This project is an open-source learning aid designed to help children with dyslexia or other learning disabilities follow multiplication tables more easily. The system uses two sliding guides (one horizontal, one vertical) that move over a printed multiplication chart. By aligning row and column, the child can visually isolate the correct cell containing the result.
The current prototype includes: 3D printable parts (horizontal guide, vertical guide, caps, workspace) A sample multiplication table in A4 format (cells at least 20×20 mm for readability) The FreeCAD source file, so others can improve, remix, or adapt the design.
Status: Conceptual design, not yet tested with students. Shared under a Creative Commons license.
Goals: Improve accessibility and readability of multiplication tables. Provide a low-cost, printable support tool for schools and families. Encourage collaboration and feedback to refine the design.

I would love to receive feedback, suggestions, or improved versions of the 3D models and tables. Possible improvements could include better ergonomics for the sliders, smoother motion tolerances, or alternative table layouts (1–10, 1–12, blank grids for practice).
