The Deity PR-2 only comes with a belt clip to hold it. I guess you can attach the belt clip to a cold shoe but I wanted to be able to directly screw in stuff to the PR-2. 

I decided to add 3 thread holes so you can either mount to a tripod or handle, but also add on stereo bars. 

I have yet to figure out the whole rig yet, but I am planning on adding two stereo bars that I can use with Clippy EM272's, Earsight Binaurals, or any other small mic pair that can be powered by the PR-2 for a field recording rig that I can easily carry in my pockets. 

To complete the build you will need 3 heat set 1/4" threads

And I used a IMAGE 60W Welding Soldering Iron but I think these should work with most soldering irons.
