Summary
Modeled in Maya 2016. I started with a NURBS sphere and cylinder and I moved, rotated, and scaled each its vertices. Then I converted it to polygons and exported it as an STL.
In Sketchup I fixed the stem to make it a manifold solid and then remixed the apple with the threaded rod part of "Sphere" by ark19.
