Bicycle pedals.
The story behind their creation is that I was too lazy to buy new ones. When I bought a bike for work, I had regular pedals that broke quickly, so I took the axles and bearing cups from them.
I worked on them and the design for a long time; design was important.
- I made the pins small, 3 mm protruding, like on my second pair of Race Face Atlas pedals. They're made from bicycle spokes and glued in place. It's better to buy M2.5 or M3 bolts and make them with bolts.
- Printing features.
I just tested a new algorithm for printing brick layers.
Layer - 0.2
Overextrusion 110%
Material PET - PET-g [this example was printed from bottles]
- Service life
They've been in use for over a year now; they periodically pick up stones and curbs, and they constantly experience small jumps. The third photo was taken after 7 months.
