How to get the perfect result

1. Fill your mug with whatever beverage you want to top leaving enough room for cream at the top
2. Carefully top with steamed or whipped cream until just below the lip of the mug making sure the stencil doesn't come in contact with the cream
3. Using a sieve and your choice of topping (fine powders work best) gently spread a thin layer over the stencil
4. Carefully remove the stencil making sure a minimal amount of powder on top falls in
