This pendant lamp shade is a three-dimensional representation of the data about consumption of fossil fuel and alternative energy since 1960. Each "slat" is one year. Its length is the consumption of alternative energy while its width is the consumption of fossil fuel of that year both expressed as a percentage of total energy consumption.
