Summary The Big A$$ Filament Guide is made as an adapter to the Replicator + Spool Holder (New and Improved) [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1975496]. This became a wacky, fun way to guide filament from a spool that will remain nameless up to my machine. I purchased some semi-opaque 1/4" tubing from a Big Box Hardware Store to assist in keeping kinks from occurring, and threaded it up to print-head. Works like a champ. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator+ Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 200 microns Infill: 30% Notes: I always print with a raft (I know. Shun me now.). I used supports because if the guide hole-way used to attach it to the spool holder. 200 microns and 30% is good; even though, 30% infill is probably overkill (But, this spool holder accessory reeks of overkill; that is the fun in it). Post-Printing The filament guide halves pin together with the pegs included with the halves. The pegs are a tight fit ad far as diameter of the holes coz I wanted a good fit since I was not going to use any glue. It assembles easily. See the included images for details.
