I cut off the box (see the picture), melted the hinge of the battery compartment door, and reinforced the chassis with quick-drying glue and baking soda. I also added extra weight to the back to improve overall stability. For aesthetics, I carefully wrapped the edges with electrical tape. If you plan to install the cover before applying the quick-drying glue, you might want to add a protective cover to the bottom of the chassis first!
