I designed and made this bracket because the various brackets I found online either installed the sensor in front of the print head or placed it behind it. However, this layout didn't work for me—for example, when I used clamps to fix the glass platform, if the sensor was only 40 millimeters away from the front of the print head, it would collide with the clamps.
This bracket is set with a 0 offset in the Y-axis direction, so no matter how the print head moves, the sensor will not deviate too far in front or behind the print head - completely eliminating the risk of collisions!
In this way, you don't have to worry about the sensor hitting the clamp anymore!
I used two M2.5×20 screws and four nuts to secure the installation position of the sensor.
Please use the BLTouch_83_Spacer.stl file to precisely adjust the installation height of the sensor.
The offset parameters of the sensor bracket are as follows:
X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER +60
Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0
Setting the boundaries of the probe's detection range:
LEFT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 27
RIGHT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 195
FRONT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 20
BACK_PROBE_BED_POSITION 190
