I am still building my Proforge 5 so these have not been tested on a functional printer. I have no idea whether they will cause unforeseen problems or not (like, they could soften or break, or tangle with the other toolheads... Who knows!). They do seem to hold the cables and filament tubes to the cable guides though, so I'm hopeful they'll work as well or better than zip ties! I'm calling this "version 0.9" for now. If I'm able to test them and am satisfied that they do not cause problems, I'll try to take the time to update this description and, if possible, increment the file's version. (This is my first upload to printables and I don't really know what I can do with my uploads later.)
Each clip is two identical pieces and they are installed on the cable guide flipped around on each other and then snapped together. I recommend using pliers to snap them together as they are quite tight (the ideal tool for this is "parallel pliers" with smooth jaws, I used a small "Knipex Pliers Wrench" on mine). Once they're on, you basically have to destroy them to take them off (after bending the rings to release the cable/tube, I've used sidecutters to cut them off the steel cable guide). After they're snapped together, they don't slide by themselves (as far as I've seen), but it is possible to adjust their position if needed.
As you may have noticed in the screenshots, I modeled this in Fusion 360. I intend to upload the Fusion model in the future, but am only going to upload the STL and STEP files for now.
As for print settings, there isn't much to it.
+ Print them solid (which isn't hard because they're quite small)
+ I recommend a brim (I've been using 2mm)
+ Each "clip" needs two pieces, so print 16 if you want 8 clips
I used a 0.4mm nozzle, PCTG (American Filament - Transparent Ruby Red). One set (16 pieces) took my printer with my settings about 45 minutes.
