This is a remix of a file I found on Thingverse made by and00m. The original file was weak at the letters, so I added a 1.5mm full back to it and this is the result.
I own a couple Ford Explorers. I've called them Exploders since the first generation, but in reality, they're fine vehicles, if cared for properly.
My 1998 Eddie Bauer Explorer is undergoing some much-needed rejuvenation work to it's body. It has low miles, but it shows it's age. Previous owner removed a few badges, so I decided to replace them with a few that will make a passer-by do a double take.
Due to it being outside in the elements, it would be best printed in ABS, or at least PETG with a UV resistant varnish to protect it from UV radiation. Add a good automotive grade badge adhesive, such as 3M brand to the back and apply to the vehicle.
The one in the photo is PETG, printed on the Prusa XL 5TH printer.
