This is an adapter to allow you to mount a Rode Blimp windscreen directly to a tripod without using the handle that comes with it. For connecting to the tripod, this uses a 1/4-20 thermal-set threaded insert (part number 93365A160 from McMaster Carr). I printed this in polycarbonate and it turned out very strong, and I'd recommend using a similarly durable filament material for it.
