10 mm five-row linear recirculating ball bearings
After the parts are processed, a ball slightly larger than the original design diameter can be used to roll along the groove, which can effectively remove the burrs.
The fasteners use 2 mm × 8 mm screws.
If the second cover plate is printed in exactly the same way as the first one, a bearing consisting of five grooves, each of which is connected at the beginning and end to form a complete ring, can be made.
And if the second cover plate is printed symmetrically with the first one in a mirror image manner, each groove will independently form a ring structure.
In my opinion, the former design is more conducive to achieving even wear of the ball bearings.
After the bearing is assembled, it is a bit tight, but the clearance is extremely small, almost no clearance; if it is adjusted to be more loose, the ball will easily slip on the shaft. Next, we need to further optimize the groove parameters to find the best fitting effect.
