My cheap ear muffs strap broke on me, and I could not throw them away given it was an easy fix.
I modeled the strap in Fusion 360 and I printed it out of PETG, 3 walls 15% infill. If you want it a bit stiffer, print with more walls / infill.
I'm leaving the Fusion 360 file as well in case you need to modify it.
