Filament Spool Holder designed in solidworks. You can print in one piece if your print can fit it or print in separate pieces. The cut out on the top fits a .25 inch piece of tubing like I have used or anything you have. I superglued the seperate pieces together and they seem to be holding up. Should hold the spool off the surface enough to spin freely. Also worked well with http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:436112.

In the picture I added of my print out, I had to scale down for my printer so the holder was not original dimensions. I had to print a square piece to sit under the stands to give the spool clearance.

Measured width of filament spool, measured distance from surface and center of spool holder to figure out height of stand. Drew up a design in solidworks and seperated pieces in order to print on my printer. Glue pieces together and seems to be holding up fine.
