This is a spool holder for my Prusa i3 style printer (novalabs.org Build Group IX)

There are a lot of nice designs out there already, but I wanted something basic that would print fast. It was also an excuse to try out Fusion360.

1. Measure and sketch the critical sizes where the spool holder would snap on the frame
2. Add a triangular shaped arm, dimension it so it would fit a typical spool
3. Add some trusses. I did this intuitively. Its been a while since I took ESM2000 at Va Tech as an EE major, so these are strictly TLAR (that looks about right).
4. Now the fun part, add some some offset to the truss members for thickness and extrude.
5. Then had some more fun with the fillets tool
6. I added a small foot hopefully to reduce wobble.
7. Export STL, brought into Slic3r, and reoriented so Z-axis is up
8. Slice and print
