This is a wall mountable case for an Audio Amplifier bench test box I designed and built.

Purpose

It was an opportunity to experiment with different methods for printing text and multi filament testing on a single extruder machine (Sovol SV06). I was not able to get the text to print perfectly and always resulted in small defects. I suspect I was simply pushing the limits of detail resolution that my machine/extruder/nozzle are capable of. Regardless the end result was usable enough for me to complete the project.

I've included the STL files for the case and text inlay in the differring first layer heights I experimented with, designated by the _0.xxFL suffix.

I had good results with this method on my machine using the 0.3 first layer height and Z Lift (Prusa/Super Slicer terminology) values with eSUN PLA+ Black/White:

If you're interested in the project itself, everything except the heatsink's are easily attainable off the shelf parts. The heatsink's were scavenged from a failed network switch (linked below in BOM), I suspect plenty of substitutes could be found, I've included the STEP files for you to modify to suit your needs.

I was able to incorporate the following features:

Dual Channel Input/Output
- Independent switching between test load, off and speaker output per channel
Switchable 4 and 8 Ohm test load
- 4 Ohm 100W Power handling
- 8 Ohm 200 W Power handling
Signal outputs for connection to Oscilloscope and PC Soundcard (Distortion Analysis)
Switchable attenuation for Scope/PC outputs with the following options:
- None
- 10:1
- 20:1
- 40:1
