I didn't liked the look of the display so I designed a thin diffuser an a thicker frame to make it look like a picture frame. The diffuser helps to hide the single LEDs and gives a cleaner look.

In reality it looks better than in the pictures, trust me :D

Printing instructions

PLA is totally fine for both parts.

For the diffuser you want a really good calibrated first layer because the part is just 0.2mm thick, so just one layer. It's best to print on a structured sheet to hide the layer lines completly.

For the frame, print it on it's face and add a bit of tree support for the rails which will hold the display

Assembly

Lay the frame on it's face, lay the diffuser into it and then slide the screen from the side into the frame with a really flat angle.
