I replaced the stock board of my CR-10S with an SKR mini E3 V2 board and reconfigured the firmware, and then ran into a problem. Some of my prints were coming out with inverted geometry. I thought that maybe the slicer was configured wrongly or maybe the cables were flipped, but that wasn't it. Turns out I had inverted the Y-axis and Y-endstop, so the prints were being mirrored about the Y axis.
I made this test while I was troubleshooting to determine which way things were being printed. The first one came out with L and R on the correct side, but up and down flipped. After fixing the firmware, it came out correctly.
Should print with any print settings really. I printed it with the standard printing settings and 100% infill.
