The original intention of designing this tool was to quickly calibrate the Z-axis stepper motors, especially for the Anet A8 printer—similar tools available on the market are not long enough and cannot be used normally on my device. Simply attach the tool to the 8-mm guide rod on the Y-axis side, then slowly tighten the stepper motor until its bottom is flush with the top of the tool. Repeat this operation on the other side to ensure that the height of the stepper motors on both sides is completely consistent. What's more, this tool prints extremely quickly. Just
As shown in the figure, I used two such tools at the same time and positioned them with the help of the back of the bed frame to ensure that they were aligned with each other, thus achieving higher accuracy.
If your stepper motor is misaligned, it is recommended that you also recalibrate the level of the print bed after completing the calibration of the stepper motor, to ensure that the entire machine runs more smoothly and reliably.
This is my first independently designed work, and I'm really looking forward to receiving valuable feedback from everyone—thank you for your support and guidance!
