I downloaded and printed the extruder chain by Coffman34 and noticed that a part was missing. This is the frame mount that would connect somewhere in-line with the chain to provide support.

I used Blender to remove the "spring" model from the "Chain_Link.stl" and then Fusion360 to add a frame mount to it.

I also added a file containing just a single spring.

I haven't printed this out yet but it should work.
