Printing and Assembly Guide
The process of printing this trash can is quite simple and intuitive. Due to its small overall size, it is recommended to add a "edge reinforcement layer" to the wheels and crossbars during printing to enhance the structural stability. If the model name is preceded by a number, it indicates that the corresponding number of parts need to be printed.
When attaching the wheels in place, pay attention to the slightly slanted cylindrical protrusion on the wheel axle, whose flat side perfectly fits into the groove at the bottom of the trash can. A closer look at the model file will make it clear - the wheels can be successfully inserted into the holes in the can body from any direction, but if the flat side on the wheel axle is aligned with the groove at the bottom of the can, the installation of the wheels will be more stable and smooth. To add a sense of detail, I also inserted a sewing needle into the wheel axle
Each sleeve is printed in a flat manner, and the three parts should be as cohesive as possible. The plastic material between the sleeves acts as a hinge, allowing you to easily fold the parts into the desired shape. Bend the parts one by one and fix them on both sides of the trash can respectively.
The hinge part can slide along the top of the trash can and snap into place above the corner protective cover. To ensure a smoother connection between the hinge and the crossbar, it may be necessary to properly ream the holes on the hinge and polish them into a round shape. Finally, install the cover plate in place and then pass the crossbar through the reserved holes between the cover plate and the trash can body.
