I needed something to stop the pipes from banging into the cabinet when I ran the water pump in my RV. Since the wood was too thin for screw mount and I didn't want a hole in the cabinet, I just dropped 2 clips onto a flat base the right dimensions for a 5lb command strip.

I wouldn't rely on this mounting method for any significant holding power, but for my needs it works well.
