This is a work in progress. Not sure how it will print or even IF it will print. There are some pretty ugly gaps under the solar panels. 

What do you do when your Y-wing has two blown engines and you are stuck in the outer rim with no spares to be found? You wield the hulks of two crashed TIE fighters to the end of each nacelle and hope you make it back to civilization. Thus the WHY?-wing was created. It was an ugly ugly but, the combination of four TIE P-s4 engines and two solar panels and the Y-wing's legendary robust air-frame, and shields turned into a fast heavily armed gunship that required much less maintenance than a standard Y-wing.  

This is the second generation of that pairing. The TIE fighters have been scraped and their components fitted into two oversized nacelles, the solar panels have been cut in half and allowed to flex to provide more energy or fold in to lower the ship's profile for attack runs.
