When I relocated my voron to a little shelf I built I discovered that I was without a spoolholder system. I wanted to design something with that could facilititate easy spool swaps, and be compatable with a variety of spool sizes and types.

This design is very tough, and can be adapted to a variety of situations. 

Materials required:

M5 Hex head bolt (at least 35mm)

M5 hex nut

13mm (½ inch) tube/dowle (at least 1.2m)

Instructions:

Cut the tube to the correct legnths:

1. Cut the tubes to length. Be as precise as possible to keep this straight. I used a dremel with a small cutting disk which worked well, but a hacksaw would get the job done if it was cleaned up afterwards.
2. Assemble the two side frames. Start by lightlly inserting the tube into each holder, and when all three corners are attached press the rest in. 
3. Square the frames. Check that the frames are lined up properly. If they are not, ligthy push the tubes so the frame is square.
4. Fasten the tubes. If working with metal tubes like I was, I used a springloaded centerpunch and then drilled a pilot hole for me to then tap. If using dowel, this is often not nesescary.
5. Insert the M5 nut into the nut hodler. Use a small dab of hot glue to fasten.
6. Use a vice or a rubber mallet to tap the nut holder into the tube, so it is flush with the end.
7. Insert the M5 bolt into the cap.
8. Do a test fit of all the components to ensure everything is square. 
9. Fasten the hodlers to the desired sufraces ensuring that they are spaced correctly, and are square. Test fit the filament.
