I designed this strip so that I didn't have to buy commercial versions. I intend to use it to build my own loading coil for a vertical HF antenna. Based on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLTKTnn5DK4

They used it for 18 AWG steel wire. I'm not sure if it will work for other gauges of wire.
