Summary
A battery box to allow the wiring of NIMH AAA batteries to make 12 volts (10 batteries). While Lithium Ion has a higher energy density, NIMH has several nice properties such as being safer and not being damaged by draining completely. The two pieces should slide together with some friction and may require a slight sanding. I increased the clearance by 0.004" from when I printed as it was a little tight for me. I also increased the length of the dividers to make the batteries stay more straight. Parts are as follows:
