This model will hold the Snapmaker Original control screen on the outside of the enclosure. I found this really useful while using the laser feature, as I could start a print with the enclosure doors closed. This may make some parts of the machine easier and safer to use. The stock cord that comes with the printer attached to the screen is long enough to place the screen on the holder and still lift it up and move it around. The cord and Enclosure Clip do not interfere much with the door, and it can still make contact with the strong magnets to keep it closed.
This is a really quick model to print, with only a small amount of pieces. No hardware is required. While it does not permanently attach the screen the the enclosure, the mount and clip, after installation, is stuck to the enclosure (it can be slid left and right along the bar). It can only be removed if the enclosure is disassembled. The screen simply lays inside of the holder and can be moved around or put back on the factory mount inside.
The model is four pieces: One Enclosure Clip that holds onto the bar on the top front of the enclosure, one Screen Holder that holds the screen on the outside of the enclosure, and two pins. The Clip must be put on the enclosure, then the pins on top of it, and finally the holder that should be glued to the clip and pins. The pins are not snug enough to hold the clip and holder together on their own, just a little bit of super glue works really well. This clamps it all onto the enclosure and should fit well and hold the screen.
None of the models need support. They can all be printed quickly at a 0.2 MM layer height and about 10-20% infill.
