After replacing the two CR2032 batteries in my ceiling fan remote twice in the matter of a few months I decided to create this replacement back to allow me to use two AAA batteries in its place. It clicks and holds into the OEM front casing and clicks and holds into the wall mount plate as well.

To complete this project you will need a soldering iron, a single positive battery tab, a single negative battery tab, a connected positive and negative tab (or singles connected with a wire), small amount of wire, and some basic knowledge of electronics.

The CR2032 are wired in parallel so in order to keep the correct input voltage the AAA batteries must be wired in series. This should at least double the battery capacity if not more depending on the AAA battery used.

This is not perfect but worked for me and I figured I would share. 

I know there are other Fanimation remote models but I can only guarantee that it will work with my specific remote model used in the pictures above.
