You need to lay down timbers on the second story of a building to support the floor. However, your timbers are only half the length of the room! How can you arrange the timbers so they span the room without falling down?
This is inspired by a puzzle made by Pentangle in 1978 called “Puzzling Pot Stand”, which is based on an 18th century technique for flooring higher stories with timbers smaller than the room. It's surprisingly strong when put together. It takes a bit of dexterity to get it together, but not too difficult of a puzzle.
Printing should be fairly simple - just download and print the STL, which includes the frame and 9 identical pieces. You may want to print the pieces in different colors for a prettier design. It took about an hour on my Bambu A1 mini. No supports needed.
Hope you enjoy!
