This in another reel to carry the throwing line. The dimensions are designed for 100 meters of 2mm line (Dyneema, Mastrant,…). You can use this line to pull up climbing rope or antena up the tree. Use the tent stake (or another stick up to 8mm diameter) as axis when winding the line.
Printed on Bambulab X1 Carbon with "0.2mm strong" setting from PETG material. But probably any other material and settings would work as well. Just be careful when installing the grip on the stud when using less flexible material. No supports needed. If you print the stud in horizontal position, cut the bottom side the way it has contact with print bed over the whole length.
The threads are metric (M18x2.5 on center and M14x2 on stud), so you can use regular tap to clean the threads or use metal hardware if needed.
The threads are intentionally designed "tight" as this is not meant for regular disassembly. If this is an issue for you, just scale the “nut” parts up by couple of percent in X and Y axes.
I recommend to print the stud (handle axis) in horizontal position to improve sturdiness. You can either use the “standing” model (and rotate and cut it by yourself according to your needs) or use the “premade” rotated and clipped model (to print without supports) which is available in the files as well (stud_flat.stl). Anyway, you need just one of them :)
Add fuzzy skin to the grip for better grip (definitely not neccessary).
