I wanted a way to use a Ram Mount cell phone holder in my truck without a suction cup in the windshield or taking up a cup holder spot. That little pocket in the dash is such a weird shape and kind of unusable that I figured it would be the perfect spot. This model is threaded for a ¼-20 stud but with the included Fusion file, you can modify it but Ram Mounts has a ¼-20 thread B size ball that they sell and can be found on Amazon. I do have that modeled as well on my page if you want to try mine first.
