This is a replacement motor mount for the HobbyZone Apprentice S 2 1.2m RC plane. It is not an exact match for the original part due to some changes I made to strengthen it and make it print better, but it fits perfectly, and seems plenty strong enough. I have crashed more times with this motor mount than I did with the original and it shows no signs of cracking or breaking.
I chose PETG to print this part, but it should print fine with whatever material you choose.
If you are just starting out flying, I would print a couple of these, and my front landing gear support for this plane and bring them with you with a replacement prop or 2. These 2 stock parts on this plane (motor mount, front landing gear support) are very likely to be broken on a bad takeoff or landing. Do yourself a favor and save a trip back home or to the store and keep a couple on hand when you fly.

Filament: any PLA, PETG any
Notes:
Printed with a stock Prusa Mini+ as shown in image with the motor-facing side of the mount down on the bed, with supports. The supports should only be for the screw tabs, and should be really easy to remove. I used a high amount of infill, probably like 50%-75%, but don't remember exactly. Other resolutions/layer heights would work too, it's a real easy print. PETG works well for me for this part, but would be fine in PLA too.
