Summary
This circuit board is meant to bring simple circuits and 3D printing to the classrooms of middle schools and high schools. The conductive paint makes this project safe since there is no hot solder to worry about. By completing this project students will learn about types of circuits, the role of the resistor, as well as calculating amperage in a series circuit.

-Resistor 470 Ohm Resistor (Yellow,Violet,Brown)
-9 volt battery
-9 volt battery connector (with stripped positive and negative leads)
-conductive paint

Post-Printing
Making the Circuit Board
Step 1: Sand off project if needed using super fine sand paper.
Step 2: Take conductive paint and fill grooves running around the board, be sure not to fill in the holes the components will be going into.
Step 3: Let paint dry according to the directions.
Step 4: Once paint is completely dry lightly sand over painted areas to make sure paint is only in the grooves.
Step 5: Take components and cold "solder" them into the holes of the board using the conductive paint. Let paint dry.

Finished Product and Grading
After following the steps you should be left with a completed working circuit board with a LED that is lit up!
When grading the project teachers should look for
-solid connections between the components and board
-attention to detail with laying paint in the grooves of the board
-correct identification of the type of circuit (series circuit)
-finding correct amperage for circuit using I=V/R
