Hardware required: 1mm thick nylon thread, around 1 meter.

Pass the thread in one of the wholes near the center, then pass back through another one, then make a knot to make a closed loop out of the thread.

How to play:

• take the thread from two sides apart of the spinner, 
• spin the spinner to one side manually or swing all the things together,
• pull both sides of the loop,
• when the spinner is speeded up and the loop is about to untangle, reduce the pulling force, let the spinner tangle the loop in another direction,
• pull both sides of the loop, repeat.
