5/11/24 Added Version 2.  better latch and hings. changed heights of box and sides to make socket removal easier.  I've been using this in the field for months now.  Works Great!!

Here is my version of a case for my Stanley ¼ inch socket set.  The hing broke over a year ago and i finally decided to fix it lol.  I had designed the hing to use a piece of filament to hold it together, but it didn't print that way.  So my working version is using a cut piece of paperclip to hold together, and it's working great.  I did add some thin foam to the lid to prevent rattles.

layer height 0.2mm

4 walls (perimeters) to avoid infill in some walls.
