Summary
A shameless rip-off of the "Swedish Collar" style bondage collar. It uses a sliding face plate to hold the collar closed. The face plate can be printed so the collar locks closed, and requires a special tool to unlock. It makes a very satisfying "click" when it closes! You can also print a version that does not lock, but what fun is that? The collar inside dimensions are 148 x 120 mm, 34 mm tall. Be prepared to do some sanding of the finished product to get the pieces to slide together smoothly. You may also have to use a small drill bit to enlarge the holes for the hinge. I use a 1 1/2" long finishing nail, cut off to the proper length, for the hinge pin.
The locking mechanism: There are two tabs on the front of the collar that engage a notch on the inside of the face plate to hold the face plate in place. Use a small paperclip, bent to the correct shape, to depress the tabs, which will then allow the face plate to slide up and off. There is also a face plate that does not have the notch, so it can slide off without a key.
To make the "key", bend a small paperclip into a "U" shape, so the two ends are the same distance apart as the holes in the key block. Press the paperclip into the key block, and use super glue to glue the cap on. Insert the key into the face plate, and trim the ends so they sit just a little above the inside face of the face plate. Once trimmed, file the ends smooth. A separate model, KeyBendJig, is provided to help to shape and trim the paperclip, but it is not as useful as I thought it would be. To unlock the collar, line up the block so the pins fit into the holes in the face plate, press it in, and slide the face plate up.
Be careful when removing supports after printing the two halves of the collar. It is easy to break off the locking tabs if you are too rough. Ask me how I know.
When slicing the face plate, disable printing supports for the upper half of the ring attachment loop to leave room for a metal ring. During printing, pause the print half way through and place a metal ring into the ring attachment loop. Then, continue the print.
I printed with PLA, but using PETG or ASA would probably make for easier filing/sanding/smoothing of the finished print. As you can see from the photos, I only smoothed the areas needed to let the parts slide over each other easily.

Post-Printing
The face plate may be a bit snug the first time you try to use it. Be patient; use a file and some sandpaper to smooth the edges and faces where the face plate slides against the front tabs of the collar. Make sure there are no small bits of support material that are getting in the way.
