My wife recently got a Jeep Willis, and now she's on the Ducks in the Jeep train…
So I thought I would make a few custom ducks for here.  Here is the next one to come out.  Spartan Duck.

I printed this at 0.1 mm with 5% infill, 3 perimeters walls.  
I have switched to Snug support to make sure things get supported well enough.  Seems that these supports come off nicely leaving very little scarring if any.

For the shield and the shield logo, I printed at 0.05mm.  Being this small required very little extra time, and less sanding to smooth out.

I did have issues with the shaft, but I needed it to be a bit bulkier than a toothpick to be able to do a good sized spear head.

Lastly, I printed the helmet feathers with a bit of fuzzy turned on, but that was personal preference.


I am now printing all my ducks with PETG (yellow since that is the worst color to paint).  I have also used an heat resistance overcoat to protect the paint.
