Simplify your wall-mounting projects with the Transfer Template!

Step one: Attach a template to the housing for each hole on your device.

Don't tighten the nut completely yet so that you can still move the template.

Step two: (optional): Attach the side stop to the housing to facilitate positioning later on.

Step three: Insert the screws into the holes of your device, place your Transfer Template against the edge, and adjust all templates onto the screws. Now you can gently tighten the nuts to secure the templates in place.

Step four: Position your device where you want it to be mounted. Transfer the two edges where your Transfer Template was previously placed. For optimal results, veri1fy the line with a spirit level.

Step five: Ensure that the side stop aligns with the drawn line, and that the housing of the Transfer Template rests on the line of the spirit level.

Step six: Carefully transfer the previously set values of your template to the wall. Now, simply drill holes and fasten your screws into the marked positions to securely hang your device on the wall with precision and confidence.

All parts can be printed without support. 

I had slight warping issues with the housing, but it worked well on the second attempt using glue stick.

I've tested the tool on various devices (router/charging station/power strip). It works well if handled carefully. Due to the very delicate design of the templates, they may move sideways if handled too roughly. However, since I wanted a compact tool that could be fully assembled, this flaw doesn't bother me in this case. It serves its purpose.
