A simple brace designed to reinforce your Ikea LACK shelf, ideal for using it as a filament storage without worries :)

I recommend using two braces per shelf for optimal strength. Each brace attaches to the shelf using three screws. You will need a long screwdriver bit to reach and properly install them. Note that the brace does not attach to the wall; it simply braces against it.

You'll notice that the brace is not a perfect right angle—it's actually 91°. This design ensures that items won’t slide or roll off on their own.

PRINTING:

For my print, I used 4 perimeters and 15% cubic infill, which proved to be plenty strong. Both PLA and PETG are suitable, as it doesn’t need to withstand sudden shocks, just a constant load.

No supports needed.
