This is a top gantry or stand alone spool holder for quick release spools of 1kg or less. it provides fixings for the V or T slots and a runout sensor arm. The spindle is 8mm and uses locknuts. The upright does not require supports.
There are 3 types of upright just choose the one you feel confident with.
