The date dial is print in place.  The make I made was with a 0.4mm nozzle; however a 0.25mm would help crisp up the lettering.

The included file has a colour change layer to get the two-colour print in my post.

I have included the step files and the original Fusion 360 file so that you can easily tweak clearances or modify to suit.  The date wheel part with a different holder can also be used for marking food expiry, when things were opened, important date reminders for your desk.  Or just a desk date wheel.
