Summary
The complete monument as seen in Eureka (in front of the Global Dynamics building). Made such that the parts of the LOGO are face down so they can be spayed easily with gold metallic paint.
Instructions
I found a large Global Dynamics LOGO and converted one side into coordinates then mirrored this to obtain the other side. The base just extends the same angle and adds the "GLOBAL DYNAMICS" text to all four sides of the pyramid.
I included the complete models in case someone has access to a printer that uses easily removable support (such as a powder printer). For the rest of us mortals (with single extruder FDM printers) I planned this to be printed in three parts. The LOGO is laid out so it is printed face down and then the corner pieces must be glued together. Once the glue has dried you can spray paint them with several layers of metallic gold paint (really looks good). The globe was simply copied from the "Gridded Globe with Islands Removed" and should be printed separately and also spray painted with metallic gold paint. Finally the base is printed (top down, with SUPPORT). This was done so the top is perfectly flat. I may add a version with a solid base that can then also be printed without support. And of course I use super glue to assemble the whole thing.
