Issue:
The model not orientated the way that you would prefer by default when creating a new model. For example, the Y axis is up, when you would prefer it to be Z up.
Solution:
Note: This changes the default orientation for new models and does NOT change the orientation of existing or imported files. For more information on how to change the orientation of an existing model, refer to the see also section.

To change the default orientation:
Click your name in the top-right corner of Fusion to open the drop-down menu. Select Preferences..
In the General Tab (the one that pops up by default), toggle the options in the default modeling orientation drop down.
Change between Y up and Z up to change the default orientation.
