This makes it much easier to switch one platen for another. It is designed to fit a Silver press from here: http://www.silkscreeningsupplies.com/screen-printing-press

Print one "plate" for each platen and one for the press. Put 3 machine screws through the plate before screwing it onto the platen. Screw another plate onto the press and bolt it in place from the other side. Insert the bolts which now protrude from the platen into the holes of the plate on the press. Secure with wing-nuts.

Now you can quickly remove a platen by unscrewing the wing-nuts and attach a different one.
