Originally designed to have the pin glued in place I find just dry fitting it holds all the parts in place as if by magic, so don't fit the pin until you are happy.

Should be a tight fit but turn easily.
If you get the first layer spreading a little, run a mold line remover around the bottom edge of the holes.
