Required parts and supplies:

• super glue
• blades (see photos for blade dimensions)
• one 4-40x1/2" screw and nut (recommended: a nylon insert stop nut, for extra anti-vibration protection)
• some kind of tube with internal dimensions of at least .625" diameter by 2.95" length (aka a standard oil cartridge tube here on the US west coast)

Optional bonus ingredients and tools:

• one or two rubber o-rings - one on the cap holds it into the tube, a second on the handle keeps it from rattling around in the tube
• 1/8" drill bit for cleaning out the screw hole - you can definitely thread it through without but it's definitely a time and tediousness saver to clean out the holes

Made this because I wanted a tiny razor blade for keeping in my bike tool kit, for removing mold seams when patching tubes. All my exacto handles are way too long and have huge cases that wouldn't ever fit in the bike tool pouch. This will fit.

Notes:

• scraping tube seams doesn't require a lot of force; it's unlikely this tool will hold up to serious pressure due to the tiny pieces required
• all listed dimensions are in INCHES
• be extremely careful when threading the screw through the blade the first time. it's hard to hold all the tiny pieces; don't be like me and stab yourself with it in the process of buggering the 4-40 screw through the slightly undersized hole. alternatively, you can solve this problem with a dremel if you are so equipped.

Mine was printed in black and glowy and glued together. I had to drill the bump out of the bottom of the tube to get this to fully fit; it doesn't need to be watertight anyway.
